Dear customers!
To improve the security level of our client area and eliminate the possibility of the social engineering attack (read our blog to find out more about Social Engineering), RedyHost® will be implementing a number of changes to the way our customers authenticate and login to the RedyHost's client area.
As the very first step, we have reviewed and updated options used for the security question. The security question is used to retrieve forgotten password and also to authenticate RedyHost's customers over the phone and the Live Chat.
We will be removing weak question options in the next 14 days, mainly those that could be answered by profiling social media online (e.g. "Mother's maiden name", "Your favourite song", "Your favourite movie". Some of these answers are listed publicly in Facebook profiles or could be found by any other means online, possessing a security risk).
As the result, we ask all our customers to login to their client area and change the security question to one of the new allowed options below providing security answer.
Your action required
Act without a delay!
Login to your client area at http://www.redyhost.com.au/myredyhost and change your security question. Ensure you select a secure new security questoin from this list:

- Driver License number
- Medicate card number
- Any secure pin (6 digits or more)
- A secret word or a phrase
- Insurance policy/card number
- Social security number

Any other security questions will be removed in 14 days on 27 June 2012.
How to change your security question
Login to your clientarea at http://www.redyhost.com.au/myredyhost with your email address and password, you will be automatically redirected to the secure client area.
After logging in,

- Click "Hello, " link in the top right,
- Then select "Edit Account Details" link. This will redirect you to the "My Details" page.
- In the "My Details" page, click "Change Security Question" tab at the top, below the page title that reads "My Details".
- Enter the answer to your old security question, then select a new security question from the list of allowed secure options (see above) and type the answer in both fields.
- Click Save changes button. You are all set now.
